I confess, I am a girly-girl. That being said my favorite place to check out new makeup is the free-standing MAC store in Kenwood Mall. They have a great selection, everything is excellent quality. The staff is great and oh so helpful. They will help you pick out the right colors based on your skin tone and show you how to put different things together. The store itself can be a little overwhelming, but I suggest just closing your eyes and going it. You'll be glad you did!

this is kinda weird. i tried to write a review of this a week ago, and this site wouldnt take it, and now it popped up. oh well. Aero is a big brand with the kids at my friends school, so of course shes GOT to have it for school (lol). anyway, this is the way you get around their prices. they are usually running a 30% sale on pretty much everything in the store,(i guess because their prices are marked high) and if you go to their website, they will send you a printable web coupon for an additional 30% your total order, no matter if you spend 10 bucks. on top of that, every friday they run an inhouse sale where everything in the store is 40%off! thats when i clean up. this past december i got my friend 2 pair of aero sweats, 3 aero hoodies, 3 tshirts, myself a sweater and 2 camis to wear under, and an aero purse for 130 bucks and that was including the tax. sign up and clean up!

If there were a competition between Joseph Beth and Barnes and Noble I would have to go with Joseph Beth. The store is very cozy complete with a fireplace and a small cafe. They have an excellent book selection as well as music, magazines and Burts Bees. The staff is really helpful and knows what they are talking about. Love this place!

Deweys is some of the best pizza in the city. I know people that are addicted to it. It is a little bit different than others. You can watch them make the pizza as well and kids especially like that aspect of it. The crust is so good. It is very unpretentious and the servers are very down home, etc.

Fetish is a very fashionable store. They offer items and brands that arent offered in other places in the city. They have such cute clothes and accessories. Plus jeans are a big thing now. Everyone wants their designer jeans. Fetish has a great selection of jeans. It is obviously pricier than other places, but it is top fashion. My friends and I are obsessed with shopping here.

Paul Brown stadium is a wonderful new facility along the riverfront in Cincinnati. The look of the stadium is really nice, and the vendors and stores are accessible and good as well. As home of the Cincinnati Bengals, the stadium has seen a lot of good and bad football. Now that the Bengals are doing better and are so close to playoff contention, Paul Brown Stadium will be packed out even more than previous years. Bengal fever is on its way back! Welcome to the Jungle!

The Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a great place to visit-especially with families of young children. The gardens are beautiful and have a ton of different flowers and plants. The zoo is clean with lots of fascinating animals to watch. I love the unique animals that are there. It's such a great place to visit, and Zoo Babies is especially fun! Everything appears to be well taken care of. They also have some great education programs!

Gamestop is a great place to find new and used games. Their prices are great and they have a money-back guarantee that the game works. Their website gives reviews on all the games, so it is nice to research all the games and items I want before going in to the store to purchase them. Sure, not all may have manuals or cases, but they work and they're cheap!!!

Ohio Valley Voices is one of my favorite organizations to read and hear about. Ohio Valley Voices provides services for deaf children that teach them to talk. There is a special cochlear implant that, if done early enough, can enable children to hear a bit and learn to speak naturally. Many of these kids you would never know they were deaf if you were listening to them. They do great work, and are such a blessing and inspiration. They are miracle workers!
