Good: nothing it was the last horrible experience i will allow myself to have there. i will drive further to columbus, oh to newport music hall instead.. Bad: dirty, rude people working the door and the bar. the $9.00 extra ticket fee they now have beside the regular ticket fee. panhandling everywhere infront. dirty bathrooms. had to change my shoes out at my car, they said i had to have my ticket scanned before i went out the door, it doesn't say this on the ticket anywhere. i was stranded outside the rest of show. they wouldn't let me back in. i'll never go back there again. i traveled from louisville and that happened. they will never get my buisness again.. Improvements: it doesn't matter because that place has been around forever. being going off and on through the years since i was 18..it has just gotten worse and worse, it's like communist run it. the place acts like they are doing you a favor. i think it should be shutdown.. Other: i was able to get back in thanks to a band member playing that night, seen me all alone asked why? he let me hang out back stage. he even agreed that the place was the worst he played in so far and this person has played across the world..

This place is small, which, to me, is a good thing. You get a very personal show. It is usually filled with the college crowd since it is so close to the University of Cincinnati. One drawback is the location. There is a lot of crime around that area which makes me nervous at night. You also have to watch for belligerent drunks since there are two bars in the place.

This is a classic venue in Cincinnati for intimate to mid-size concerts. It’s a perfect venue for a rock concert. Over the years, I have seen many bands @ Bogart’s, including P.O.D., Blindside, Primus, and Project 86. It is basically one huge rectangular open space. There is a balcony and two bars (one big and one small). There is extremely limited seating (on the balcony and near the big bar), with no seating in the large open space. I only hope that the rumors are not true… (that Bogart’s has been purchased by the University of Cincinnati).
