Stadium is hot...the Reds, eh, we'll see.... 4/11/2006

The relatively new Great American Ball Park is a wonderful facility. Although it seems a bit smallish, the amenities are great, the smokestacks are a nice addition, the layout is good and the atmosphere is what makes ballgames fun. The vending is so-so, and expensive, but that's usually the way it is. The Reds haven't been the best team lately, but it's worth coming downtown to walk around the stadium, visit the museum and have some good American fun! Hopefully this will be a promising year! more

Great ballpark, bad parking and vending prices 9/1/2005

The new ballpark is 10 times better than the previous one. And you can get really cheap tickets the farther up you are willing to sit...so it's great for an evening when you are looking for something to do. Of course it would be better if the Reds were doing well...but I'm a fan nonetheless. Eating and drinking there can get quite expensive, which is the case at all stadiums. Parking can be challenging on popular game-days. more

Reds Ballpark 8/19/2005

It’s the place to see the Reds (and a very occasional massive concert). If you want to see them, obviously this is the place to be. It’s beautiful. It’s got the third-biggest scoreboard in the major leagues. If the boys hit a homerun, they fire the “cannons” and shoot off fireworks. It’s awesome, if you’re @ Newport on the Levee, because you know if the boys hit a HR. The food is expensive, as to be expected. It’s definitely worth going to at least once while in Cincy. You can find tickets for cheap in the nosebleeds. more
