I have shopped at this perticular thrift store since I was probably fourteen and it is most definatly my favorite one ever. The prices are low, all of there goods are in very good condition and are things that people would actually want. They have a wide varity of products, ranging from electronics, to toys, and then to clothes. They also have furniture and home decor. The empolyees are always kind and helpful, and never rude. The store is very organized and has things divided up so they are easy to locate. They even have a dressing room so you can try on clothes. Basicaly, what I'm saying is, if you are going to shop at a thrift store, make it this one.

This store is not for poor people. The Vietnam Vets sell the merchandise that they collect in their donation boxes to the Valley Thrift. Keeps their overhead down by not having to have a store etc. So I am sure they don't care who shops and spends there.

I go to the Valley at least 2-3 times a month. I LOVE IT! For the person that said the prices are too high... I don't agree. You can find a pair of jeans for $5, a shirt for $3, shoes for $5, bedsheets for $2 and the list goes on an on. They are a MUCH better deal than Goodwill, where you will pay at least $7 for a sweater. The down side is that you have to get there early or the place gets PACKED and you won't even find a parking spot.

Yes, I heard a few well-dressed folks complaining about prices ($4 for a blouse, come on, that's not to complain about!). Most clothing was in great shape, and there was a lot of variety. I was looking for a fancy evening dress not overinvest - got a great one for $6.99. Also a cool pair of leather never-been-worn shoes $5, designer tank $4, reversible silk tank top $1.50, Hawaiian dress $3, blazer $4.
Great variety - ladies wetsuit, designer beaded evening dress $15, toys, purses, bedding & more.

my house is for sale, and many things i've used for staging come from here. some new, some used, incredible bargains like serving pieces under $1, bedcovers for $5, the list goes on and on. i found cork rolls - 16 square feet for $2 each.
also, when i had a boarder come stay, i used valley thrift extensively for all the 'fun stuff' that i wanted to welcome her with, but not spend oodles in case she didn't like something.
the listed phone number is incorrect. i haven't been able to find the right one.

If you are looking for a new pair of pants (or whatever) – that is right I did say NEW – Check out Valley Thrift on Reading Rd in Evendale, just north of Cornell. Most of the times when I shop at the VT I always find brand new items with the original tags- don’t know where they get them but they are there. If you like to ‘bargain hunt’, this is the place for you. Everything you could possibly want can be found here. Just be forewarned, you could spend 3-4 hours wondering the clothing aisles alone. The used book selection is outstanding and I never have trouble finding the right toy for my 2 ½ year old.
However, one down side is that if you would happen to find just what you have been looking for and it doesn't have a price tag - it may take a while for them to reprice!
Stop and find your bargain!!
