I have to admit, the Pottery Barn has cute stuff. It's very trendy and attractive. The prices, however, are crazy. They never have sales and there are never clearances. There is a Pottery Barn outlet but it still isn't a very big discount. I tend to visit this store as more of an inspiration of looks I would like to duplicate. Sales staff is average. They are nice and helpful but not too much so.
