This family owned gem, is located in downtown Cincinnati across from the Aronoff. Despite being small, Roma's has quite of selection of Italian dishes. The food is fantastic, especially the Chicken Marsala. The servers are a lot of fun, and even on a busy night, the service was excellent. It's not necessary to have reservations, but I would recommend it.

This is by far one of the worst restaurants I have been too, and I am usually a very positive person. For lunch me and three girlfriends decided to try something new. To our disappointment, we had a terrible experience. First, we saw a huge roach croll up and then down the wall, finally disappearing behind wood panneling. After making a comment to the waitress we got a confirmation that yes, restaurants have roaches and it is quite normal. We then had to wait for almost 1/2 hour for our food to arrive, even though everyone around us that got there much later was already served. Again we asked the waitress to hurry... she gave us "the look", which is something I have NEVER seen anyone do in the service industry. When we finally had lunch and it was time to pay, we again faced a problem. The staff couldn't figure out how to split our bill. In fact, they even told us openly that they "normally don't do it " during lunch hour because "it's too busy". Verdict - I am never going back there again.
