The Lazy Gourmet is one of the best local caterers around in the Cincinnati area. It's menu is loaded with everything from traditional items to new fusion cuisines, all of which are prepared in the most current fashion. You can order a lunch for 10 people and have it delivered, or have a party for over 100 catered in style. Favorite items include roasted red pepper hummus with garlic pita chips, savory cheese cake hor's d ouerves, chilled cajun grilled shrimp, and a complete canape menu. I had some tasty medium beef ribs with mac ‘n’ cheese and cornbread.
I’m not typically a big fan of beef or spare ribs, but these were chewy without being grisly and in Goodies’ famous thick and spicy BBQ sauce. I didn’t detect much smoke flavor in the meat, but these were quite good nonetheless. The mac ‘n’ cheese and cornbread were both average.
The others had a heaping basket full of rib tips which looked amazing and got raves all around.

This is a beautiful venue to host a wedding reception or other special occasion the ballroom and dancefloor are spectacular and the food is delicious. With ample space for parking and plenty of space for guests inside, this moderately priced reception hall is perfect for a bride-to-be who wants a fabulous reception on a budget. They offer a great variety of food choices for your catering too. It’s inexpensive but elegant, and a true gem in the Ohio Valley.

I am a big fan of Starbucks, but nothing beats the atmosphere of this local coffee shop in Hyde Park. When the weather is nice, I love sitting outside on the patio sipping my coffee. The shop also has a nice selection of premium coffees and they can make recommendations based on your needs and taste. To go along with the java are pastries and high quality chocolates like Valhora.
