My favorite dishes from this place has got to be the carne asada fries and the california burrito. Everything is inexpensive no frills no thrills kinda place. My tip is that if you are ordering something " to go" you have to call first and then pick it up. This way you have priority if there is a long line which is pretty common.

The slogan at Lolita's is "Patience is the essence of Fine Mexican Food" which is shorthand for "It's gonna take awhile to get your food." This is not an issue if you go in knowing you are going to wait awhile. This location has an outdoor patio and you can sit in the sun and chill or walk next door to Starbucks and get coffee until your number is called. This is great, cheap Mexican food. Not a diet joint, however, I eat here between diets. Try the Carne Asada Fries, an artery clogging yummy mess of French fries slathered in carne asada (taco meat for you tourist folks) cheese guacamole and sour cream. Delish, but you won't see the heart healthy symbol on the menu. The bean and cheese burrito at 2 bucks is my vegetarian husband's favorite; it's filling, yummy, and cheap.
