After years of seeing concerts in strange places like football stadiums and ice hockey rinks, it's nice to have an ampitheatre in town which is designed to host concerts.
My absolute favorite part of Coors is the lawn in the back. Sit down, drink a beer, relax while watching the show!
The only thing frustrating is getting in and out of the parking lot. With one road into the stadium, the traffic gets pretty heavy after the show.

If you want an outside venue for a concert than you should check out Coors. Located in Chula Vista, it can be a drive, but it was made just for concerts. The facility was built not too long ago and it's been a hit with San Diegan's ever since.
It's easy to get to with plenty of parking. Coors has many concerts throughout the year so check the daily newspaper for events that are happening.

Coors Amphitheater is a great Venue to perform at. But because of its size, it only attracts the larger acts, which in turn means higher ticket prices. If you live in North County, it’s a little far, but it can be worth it depending on the band. The days can be excruciatingly hot and the nights can get unbearably cold. The weather forecast before attending a concert to make sure you’re equipped accordingly.

There is no place to see a show like an open air amphitheatre. No echo off the walls like the Pay One center. You can get everything from pit to box sections seats to lawn section. Lawn section... More
There is no place to see a show like an open air amphitheatre. No echo off the walls like the Pay One center. You can get everything from pit to box sections seats to lawn section. Lawn section isn't that good unless the jumbotron TV’s are one, however, you can still hear the music just fine. Food and drinks are served and the main fair for beer of course is Coors!
