Before I started keeping Kosher-style, I loved the brat appetizer. It was perfect- enough for a full meal. Although I would have included an option to have just a classic beer boiled brat, and none of the spiced spin-offs in the menu, all three sausages were really good. I've also had the milkshake and the fries which were both tasty. Outside of these, though, the fare has been disappointing. Everything else I've had here, which sound good in the menu, come out bland and disappointing. The beer sampler is really nice. I've been surprised with the quality of the beer on occasion. Sometimes it comes out tasting a good bit stale. Any other restaurant I might dissappointingly shrug off, but come on, this is Sierra Nevada.

Largely known for their microbrews the Sierra Nevada Restaurant has created its menu of pub fare to compliment its beers. Much of their meat is grown locally at Chico State's University Farm proving that the organization works to help its community. They have a variety of appetizers that you could make into a meal itself. This is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends,family or that special someone.
