They have one item on their menu which is really worth going for here though. That is thier cinnamon rolls. Their cinnamon rolls are perfect. They are fresh made, warm, and gooey. They are just sweet enough.
This place gets really crowded so be prepared to wait a bit for those good cinnamon rolls.

This is a family favorite for breakfast. This place is nice and casual and very kid-friendly. I like how such a casual environment serves up such delicious food. My favorite breakfast items here are definitely their crab, spinach, and cream cheese omelette with a side of their super delicious homemade cinnamon roles. Their food is always fresh and so delicious. The portions are great too, we can easily share with our children because there is so much. I wouldn't really recommend this place so much as a lunch or dinner spot. I've had two of their sandwhiches and both of them have been very mediocre. But for breakfast, this is a sure bet!

I have been here several times for breakfast and I have always been very pleased with this great little restaurant. They serve up Swedish American fusion fare and their food is really tasty. Whenver I go here, I have one of their huge omelletes and cinammon rolls! The food here is fantastic, always fresh and piping hot. The service is great too. No matter how crowded or busy they are, you always get lots of attention and optimal service.

Ann Sather's is a fantastic restaurant in Chicago that blends traditional comfort foods with Swedish cuisine. The place is bustling for breakfast, when people pack the restaurant for their famous homemade cinnamon rolls. The omlettes are huge, and they also have some creative spins on eggs benedict. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere is casual. Prices for breakfast and brunch are in the $7-8 range, but include some huge sides.

Ann Sather's is a cross between your favorite diner, your grandmother's kitchen, and an upscale bistro. I visited for breakfast/brunch, and even with a limited menu (it was New Years Day), I had too many choices to pick from.
Although everything at our table looked delicious, I think the cinnamon rolls stand out the most. They bring you two HUGE still-warm-from-the-oven cinnamon rolls as one of two given side items. Our meals were delicious, and I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup. With great service in a bustling, homey atmosphere, I am eager to go back for dinner.

Ann Sather's is one of those places that you just keep coming back to. The food is great and the atmosphere is charming and uplifting. The service is consistently good too.
The theme is Swedish American. If you come for breakfast, they have great omelets and their dangerous specialty, cinnamon rolls. The coffee is good and for some reason as I am writing this I remember a lovely side dish of prunes.
Lunch and dinners are good too. You can try the Swedish meatballs or whatever else strikes your fancy and probably be pleased with the result.
Both this place and the one on Belmont has wonderful, colorful murals with Swedish folk themes.
