I love the whole area the army surplus store is located. Across the street is the Silver District and the Alley. Theres a starbucks on the corner and a bunch of boutiques down the block. If you walk a little further north, you'll hit House of Sushi and Noodles. The Belmont Army Surplus Store is just one of these little treasures. Theres a lot of cool army clothing and memorabilia to look at like gas masks that you won't find elsewhere. I don't know if anyone would actually BUY these gas masks since they appeared to have been used at some point and its not cheap. Still, its a nice place to browse and a nice area to check out!

This place has some awesome things, from knives and nunchaks to BDUs, winter jackets, and bandanas. They also carry a large amount of hiking gear, like canteens, compasses, and water bottles. They also have lots of military memrobilia; old helmets and medals, pins, and patches. This place is great to wander around and browse.

The clothes here are very funky. Not really my style. Despite the fact that this isn't my type of clothing style, the clothes all seemed to be very expensive and not very good quality. I guess you could describe this place as punky. The workers are really fun and cool though. That was a plus!

The Belmont Army Surplus store is always a fun place to check out if you're looking for funky punky clothes. It's a huge store with both men's and women's clothes. Their shoe selection is awesome and very unique, but lately it's been expensive. It's right next to the Belmont El stop if you take the train. And there are other really neat shops around there as well.
