Wonderful set of women offered me great service at this store. Supurb selection, I've never seen so many gowns in one place. SO CLEAN (gowns and store)! Prices and service was phenominal. Felt pampered and catered to. Reasonable alterations and very timely. Found my gown on the first visit after searching high and low all over Chicago and suburbs. Highly recommend this store to all brides. You won't be sorry.

I had an excellent experience purchasing my gown at Kasia's Bridal. The owner was helpful and friendly. She sold me my gown (bought consignment) for an excellent price and additionally helped me pick the perfect accessories to match my dress. She really listened to my needs and made good suggestions without being pushy.
Concerning my experiences with the seamstress, my first fitting left me rather unsettled. Although the seamstress (who is the owner's mother) is surely experienced in her trade, her "interpersonal style" left me rather uncomfortable and embarrassed throughout my entire fitting. I found the seamstress to be very rough when physically handling me (i.e. when pinning me or when adjusting the dress on my body). Additionally, she was rather insensitive when speaking about my body (for example she very loudly referred to the size of my breasts for all the store to hear). Simply put: if you are seeking someone who is sensitive and discrete (both when touching your body to make alterations and when discussing the way your body looks in your dress), then I suggest looking elsewhere. If you are less sensitive than myself, then this shoppe is still a fine choice.
Pros: Good prices
Cons: seamstress

I cannot agree more with the positive reviews about this salon. At first I wasn't sure what to think because the place doesn't look to big from the outside, so I told my mom to wait until I call her to come out. But when I walked into the store, holy cow! I called my mom as soon as I walked in. I have never seen so many bridal dresses in one place! It took me 2 hours to find THE gown, but the honest reality of the matter, I didn't want to shop anywhere else. I worked with Kasia and one of her assistants. The selection is spectacular (well over 2000 gowns, not kidding..) and the quiality is far more superior than the David's stuff you'll see as a bridemaid. Extremely professional and down to earth. I had a great time shopping this store and am not afraid to send my friends here as I know they'll get great service, quality selection and the prices were great. More importantly, I didn't feel like I was visiting a machine, I felt like a bride looking for a dress that received honest help from the owner! I purchased a LaSposa bridal gown for $500, while the regular price was $1800! You can't beat that!
Note: They have a bridesmaid/mothers/flower girls/special occasion room as well and party gets a deal if you gown from them.
Great find and I highly recommend this great Northwest side bridal salon.
Pros: LOTS of selection for all budgets

I was in for the Thanksgiving weekend visiting family and friends. My girlfriend booked a few appointments for me since I'm not from Chicago (I'm from Iowa). This weekend I was able to shop many bridal shops (too many...but that's another story) in the Chicagoland area. This one is one of the better (if not best) boutiques by far. Really great organization, I was able to view the re-orderable gowns in a catalog without having to fuss with going through tons of racks - BONUS! I didn't want to go through the hassle I did at the other stores I visited, and god only knows that describing is so much harder than just showing someone what I'm looking for. Owner (Kasia) then recommended gowns based on some of my choices. The gown I ended up purchasing was one actually of the owners picks. Great price on a designer gown (Pronovias). Ask for Kasia, the owner, she has a great attitude and you could tell she loves what she does and by far is probably the most honest salesperson I've ever worked with.
By the way, the quality of gowns was superior. For anyone on a budget, this store has an unbelievable desginer clearance rak full of gowns in all sizes, styles and color all priced pretty well (I saw gowns priced from $100 to about $500). Store and merchandise is clean and well kept. LOVED the one on one service. Kasia kept to my appointment and really was involved in assisting me. I definintely recommend this store to all brides.
Pros: Tremendous selection and reasonable prices

I have never written a review before, but I was so angered by my experience at Kasia's that I felt that other s would benefit from knowing about it. I had to call Kasia?s three times to see if they had a specific dress because no one ever called me back. We (my mom and another bride) made an appointment for a Saturday afternoon. We drove 45 minutes and when we walked in, Kasia immediately told us to sit down and look through a book of magazine pictures to pick out dresses to try on. She never even asked our names! When we said that we already knew the specific dress that we wanted to try, and that we had a good idea of the styles we were looking for, Kasia said that we had to start by looking at the pictures. Again, we said that we knew what we were looking for, but she refused to go look for dresses with styles we liked. So, we sat down and started to thumb through pictures while she went to get the one dress we had come for (all the while ignoring the second bride). When she returned, she continued arguing with my mother that most people appreciate having pictures to look at. My mom said that was fine and she was willing to move on, but Kasia proceeded to say that she refused to do business with us. When my mom tried to at least look at the dress, Kasia literally ripped it out of her hands. We were so confused that we started to walk out. Kasia began yelling that she had never encountered such difficult people. Her attitude and response to our requests was completely unprofessional and entirely rude. Perhaps she was just having a bad day. What I can't understand, though, is that on her website she promises to never create a terrible dress shopping experience because she encountered bad experiences. This was hands down the worst shopping experience I have ever had, and to have it connected to my wedding makes it so much worse. I was on the verge of tears when I left, and still cannot understand how it became so dramatic. I would not recommend Kasia?s to anyone!
Cons: Location, atmosphere, service, professionalism

I too have shopped many bridal stores in Chicago and have to say that I'm glad I saw the RedEye ad for a sample sale Kasia's Bridal was having this past weekend. I've never seen so many gowns in one store, the selection was spectacular! Each one was different in its own way, and each one very well priced. There was a range of prices from $79 to $3000. If you shopped this sale and didn't find anything, you're just to picky is all I have to say about that. So it's needless to say, but I'll tell you that I bought my gown at this sale. It was a Renella DeFina that I saw at Kleinfeld's in New York for $9000 and was completely out of my budget...well I'm glad I found it again at this store! I bought the exact same gown at the sample sale for, are you ready? $1500! It was in perfect condition, only now it was discontinued. Out of curiosity, I called the consultant I worked with at Kleinfeld's to ask her if there was a price difference on the gown since it was now discontinued, she told me that yes it was, and that I could buy the gross sample they had (it was trashed), it was still there for 1/2 off, that would make it $4500! WHAT?!! I was so glad I came to Kasia's. It's to my understanding that if there was no "sample sale" the visits to this store are by appointment only. So keep that in mind if you plan on shopping this store. They are one on one on regular days. I'm so glad I found this place.
Pros: Large array of gowns in all sizes, styles, shapes, colors and prices

Seriously. I wouldn't. My friends recommended all kinds of places that were all up-idy and snooty all over chicago and the 'burbs. I shopped and shopped and disliked each one in some way, either I felt someone was dishonest or I was left to run the show myself. I needed some help and guidance and barely anyone was willing to give it the other stores I visited. After the seventh store I was starting to loose confidence in the idea of finding a store I liked, more less an actual gown! I wanted a great place with great people and of course nice dresses. I found this store looking through a designers website and called the store directly. I spoke with the owner that was by far, probably the nicest person I talked to at any salon over the phone. I scheduled an appointment to look at what they had after the fifth dress I knew I found "THE ONE" and needed to stop looking. And it happened to be a dress that the sales girl recommended to me. What I really liked was the fact that THEY ASKED ME if I wanted to get dolled up. They didn't just stick some fluffy marshmellow veil on me. That deserves a sixth stars on its own! Being the bling girl that I am of course I wanted to be dolled up, the extra accessories really helped me make my decision, so I bought the whole package, dress, veil, headpiece, earrings, necklace and shoes AND I got a deal on them all for buying the whole look! If you can't tell yet, I reeaaly loved every part of my visit to Kasias. The selection is great, the staff seemed to actually like their jobs, and I was never left alone to try to fen for myself. Everything worked out so well that I definitely will be coming back to redeem my discounts for the rest of my bridal party (bridesmaids, moms, flowergirls and groomsmen, yup, they carry tuxes as well!)
Pros: They know what they're doing and they ask, they don't just do.

I believe that the experience that I had at this salon should be a standard across the board with all salons. I made an appointment, I was listened to, I browsed the clearance racks while the assistants retreived the gowns that I had chosen out of their current stock. From there, we tried on the gowns and I made my purchase. I didn't think I was ready to buy my gown that day before I walked into this store, but there was nothing stopping me. I found what I was looking for, the service was great, and the price was $800 below my budget so I went ahead with the purchase. My wedding is in June of 2009, so yeah, I still have some time but since I purchased my gown I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I will recommend this salon to anyone needing a bridal gown or a social occasion dress.
Pros: No hassles, non-pushy staff, great selection, passionate owner that knows her stuff.
