Since moving to Chicago, I've been going to West Coast Video on Broadway in Lakeview for video rentals, and I have no complaints! They are reasonably priced ($3 per rental, and new titles are sometimes overnight but usually five days), and catalog titles (aka not new releases) are always rent one get one free and keep both for a week. They have a great selection, although for older titles you'll need a VCR. MUCH better than the sky-high prices at Blockbuster, plus a lot more selection and better chances of having what you're looking for!

West Coast Video is an okay video store in the city. I much rather prefer the Blockbusters down the street because there are more movies there.
But this place is good for those of you who are looking for an "adult" video collection because this place boasts a large selection.
Otherwise, I would say stick to blockbusters because you'll get more friendly service, a better selection of movies, and an actual parking lot too! This place has no parking lot and parking can be a major pain to find...

I really like this video rental store. They are less crowded than the local Blockbusters and have great service. They do not have a very extensive movie collection, but you can always find all the new releases here. They also have a little section in this store where you can buy used dvds and videos at really great prices. So check out that section to add to your own home collection!
