Active Endeavors is a very interesting shop because it offers a decent selection of high end line sporting clothes and gear (such as North Face), yet is also sells quite a bit of trendy clothes that are neither cheaply made nor will break the bank. They carry interesting lines that I have read about in magazines yet have not acually seen in stores. There are many sales and the sales people are nice but not pushy.

and still only walk out with no more than 3 items. This place is ridiculously expensive and seems to pander to the "weekend warriors" in Lincoln...

and still only walk out with no more than 3 items. This place is ridiculously expensive and seems to pander to the "weekend warriors" in Lincoln Park. The clothes and sales staff are nice, but then I expect no less when the t-shirts are 80 bucks. I only go when I need something very specific, or there is a sale. Quality does not have to equal expensive. Go to Uncle Dan's on Lincoln; selection can be limited but prices are definitely decent and the staff there really know there stuff when it comes to outdoor fitness/recreation.

Active Endeavors is a very interesting shop because it offers a decent selection of high end line sporting clothes and gear (such as North Face), yet is also sells quite a bit of trendy clothes that are neither cheaply made nor will break the bank. They carry interesting lines that I have read about in magazines yet have not acually seen in stores. There are many sales and the sales people are nice but not pushy.
