I tip my hat to these young folks and the teachers here. Many of these students made the Cows on Parade display that was so popular a couple of years ago a big hit thru their talents and imagination. So many kids have a great spirit and imagination, this inspires me as an artist to grow and try different things and use different mediums.
I know this orginazition is very special to our Mayor's wife and is close to her heart.

Located across from the Chicago Cultural Center, this gallery space is part of an art project to nurture middle and high school students in the arts in the Chicago area...but it is so much more. It's a great location for seeing a play, taking a class, or buying a unique gift. Although it was created to nurture children's artistic talents, it's not for children only. This is a true gallery, not a school gymnasium. The quality of product here is very high. This is a great place to explore and very convenient for after-work theatre performances, and ticket prices are very reasonable. Get on their mailing list to keep abreast of what's coming up.
