If you have never tried improv comedy then you are missing out. Second city doesn't cost all that much to get in, and you can get some quality entertainment for as long as you want. This will become a regular spot of yours after you try it once. Whenever I am entertaining people from out of state we go here.

If you're in the mood to laugh, give Second City a try. My cousin is a member of one of the many improv groups that put on weekly shows. You can generally get in for about $10 for some of the locally-advertised shows. Bar service is available in several of the theaters, and in many instances, you pay one price and stay as long as you like (often for more than one show). I highly suggest making an evening out of Second City, and be sure to check out the group "Self-Centered Girl!"

I laughed so hard when I was here last. The improv was so funny that I couldn't breathe. This is a cool atmosphere to hang out with friends and hear a few humorous one liners. I think that they over charge on a few things, so I would eat elsewhere before you make the show.

I have taken my girlfriend here for their shows. Last one we saw was called "Iraqtile Dysfunction." It was a good show and I would recommend it to all of you. They have some great actors here who put their all into making their show a great one. We had the pizza dinner to go with our show and it was pretty good. I bought the tickets on their website, but later foudn out that they are actually cheaper at the box office so go there to puchase your tickets!

This is a great place to go in the city to see some improv comedy. The actors here are great and many of them are actually very experienced in their fields. This place makes for a very fun and enjoyable weekend night. You can purchase tickets in advance from their website or you can buy them right on site at their box office. Either way, it is an enjoyable place to be. They also have show and dinner packages here and you can choose from the pizza dinner of the three course meal dinner. I've had the pizza dinner here and it was pretty good. It made for a good addition with the improv!
