What do the other reviewers want in a massage? This place is clean and everyone is kind. The massage is amazing and THEN after the massage you take the most amazing rain shower. This place is perfect. There is no pretension and you don't feel like you are just a dollar value for the bottom line.

Although it calls itself a "day spa," Urban Oasis actually focuses its services almost exclusively on what it does best -- massages. With two locations, and dozens of massage therapists, Urban Oasis offers a variety of types of massages (Swedish, deep muscle, pregnancy, hot stone, sports, shiatsu, Thai) plus the options of aromatherapy and salt glow add-ons, and reflexology and reiki.
The setting is very relaxing. Clients are offered robes, sandals, juice, tea and water. There are private changing rooms, and a variety of showers (steam, European and rain) are available for use after the massages are complete.
Therapists are very professional and do a wonderful job!

I got a gift certificate from this place as a birthday present. I went in but wasn't very impressed with their decor and the way the place was kept. I had to wait a long time before somebody was able to help me. I had scheduled a massage for myself. The massage itself was great, but the wait times were too long for me. I don't think I'll be going here again.

I returned a little while ago from my massage (a father's day present thank you very much) and I'm still smiling. While the spa itself isn't going to blow your mind (below ground on the corner of North & Sheffield) it doesn't really matter. The staff are really friendly and unpretentious. The facilities are spare but nice. New age music, earth tones, etc... My therapist (Nora) made me feel comfortable and did a really great job. The hour flew by much too fast. After the massage I took one of their complimentary showers (steam or rain? I took rain. Take the shower when offered. Seriously). I was told by a friend this is a must and she was right. I could have stayed in there for hours but alas I had to get going. I'll be back. Definitely.
