I actually like this theater because of those qualities. The tickets are a steal--and if it happens to be playing a movie you want to watch, it is definitely worth it. I haven't encountered the loudmouth moviegoers, sticky popcorn or anything--I think because few people go there, it is more peaceful, and no one really minds anything. They don't have a huge selection of movies, and the theater certainly isn't normal-sized, but the price and the peace will be worth it.

Burnham Plaza Movie Theatre is defiantly not worth the discounted tickets. It is dirty and small. Burnham used to be a best kept secret for many years. It was quiet and not many people used to frequent it.Now it's filled with loudmouth moviegoers, sticky floors and stale popcorn. I would recommend AMC.

I saw a film at Burnham last week and the air conditioner was out of order. If it's a particularly hot day, you may want to call first to make sure the air is working. Otherwise your experience is bound to be stifling. Also, the concession staff is young and inattentive. Bring your own snacks to save time, money and frustration. Despite these drawbacks, I still go here for the convenient location and the film selection. On most days you can see as many films here as you like without anyone noticing or caring. Pros: Bargain Matinees, Convenient Location, Lax Security Cons: Inattentive Staff, Pricey Concessions, Mouthy Audiences
