This happens to be the best place in the city of Chicago. Yes, I am a north sider. For us real Cub fans there will always be next year, and we have no problems with that as long as the field stays the way that it is with the ivy and old style beer. This is the perfect hang out place for any sunny work day when you are playing sick.

This is a great place to join a bowling league, or just to have a fun night out with some friends. If you have children you can plan birthday parties here. There is actually some parking available, and this place can hold a lot of bowlers. Come here if you are tired of most nights being Blockbuster nights.

People can argue and argue all they want about this huge stadium but I only have one thing to say: this place houses our world champs!! So let's stop arguing about the structure and go root on our champs!
If you go see a game at this stadium, you will enjoy the new design and all the great things it has to offer. They have lots of parking here, great concessions, and good seats. It is a wonderful and fun time to come and watch our home team kick some behind!!

The changes at U.S. Cellular Field have turned a so-so stadium into the finest place in Chicago to watch a baseball game. Sure, at first, the stadium was just too big and too tall for its own good. Sitting in those seats near the top was like sitting in a seat bolted into the side of a wall. However, recent renovations have turned this stadium into a state-of-the-art baseball-watching experience.
They cut down the seats at the top and put in a kind of "roof" or overhang. This changes the wind-patterns on the field, but ads a homey quality to the stadium. The Fundamentals section in left field is the best place to take rowdy kids during the game. They can hit, run, learn to pitch. It's fantastic and well past anything the laughable Flubs on the north side have come up with. Apparently they feel kids will enjoy the stench of beer, vomit and enjoy urinating in a trough.
The food at the Cell is the finest in baseball. Pizza, ice cream, churros, Polish sausage, gyros are all a few feet away. Plus, if you are in in the concourse to get food, the wide-open structure allows you to still see the field and the game, unlike at the crumbling disaster on the north side.
If you want a true baseball experience, visit the White Sox at The Cell. Enjoy the montage and opening theme music with the great sound system and gorgeous Jumbo-Tron. Enjoy the fireworks. Enjoy ample parking that doesn't involve paying $30 to park in some yokel's garage. Mostly, enjoy world championship baseball.

We all know the great era of the Chicago Bulls when they were rocking the league. Things have changed since then but it is still great watching this team re-build itself and model itself into a nba worty team. This team has lots of great players now and I think everybody should be keeping a look out for this team's rise!

Timberlanes is pretty fun if you're with a good group of friends and looking to drink. It's an old run-down bowling alley (like a dive of bowling alleys), but has the crowd coming back.
Lanes are limited, so I'd recommend going a little earlier than 10 p.m. They have a small selection of balls to choose from as well. Beer is average priced, and you can get pitchers. Bring cash though because they don't take plastic! I'd say the best thing is the juke-box, but even that's not too cheap. I dunno what keeps 'em coming back to be honest,but last time I was there I had fun. Maybe it's just for the locals...

Highly recommended: I actually called because I had a question about Bulls Tickets and they walked me through their website and got even better ticket than I expected. Tickets were Fed Ex to my home and it was simple and easy. We are fired up for the Bulls this year and I will be back to get Bears tickets too. I normally don't use this broker, but when I needed to sell some bleacher tickets for a cubs game that was hard to sell because of the forecast weather I called this company. All the other ticket brokers that I had called did not want them because of forecast storms, and due to having a baby with me I could not go to the game or go to Wrigley field later that day to sell them. All I was asking was face value and this company had heaps of bleacher tickets in stock but still looked after me and gave me face value for each ticket. Just because they were nice to me when they didn't need extra tickets I will definitely be using them next time to either buy or sell tickets if I need to do so.

Miami Bowl is located in the Hispanic neighborhoods of the south side of chicago around Pulaski and Archer. It is a nice bowling alley with reasonable rates. There are usually league games on friday and on the weekends so remember to get there early and to make reservations. I have been going to this bowling alley for over 15 years.
