Refunds 9/16/2011

Very disappointed. 30 day refund even with the receipt? I guess the the manager did not want to be minus one sale. Even being a rewards member does not get you extra time. Will spend my money elsewhere even sold my merchandise credit to someone. Marshalls carry the same shoes. more

Poor Customer Service 5/19/2011

Good: I like the shoes - quantity and quality of selection are good. Bad: VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE STORE IN GAINESVILLE, VA. The customer floor service employees are rude and it appears as if they really do not want to help anyone.. Improvements: New - professional customer service employees!!!!!!!!. Other: Don't go to this store - there are others in the area with better customer service. more

DSW in Lone Tree, CO SUCKS 1/16/2011

DSW SUCKS! The clerks try all kinds of tricks on you to try to get your telephone #. If you say no, they try other tactics and try to make you feel guilty. They are very disrespectful in this way. I've been in this store twice and had the same problem. Who needs this? Skip this store, and find somewhere to shop where you aren't pressured to give information you don't want to give out. more

Poor customer service 2/6/2009

I was purchasing 2 pairs of shoes and was treated so poorly that I will never will buy there again. I don't understand in this recession how companies like this one can continue to operate with this horrible service. There are many, many other shoe companies to go and get shoes and this is one I would not recommend! more

Treasure Hunt 5/19/2006

DSW seems to collect all the sale shoes that department stores carry, but in one location. It's hit and miss, though, on finding a pair of shoes that A) fits well B) looks good and C) works with your budget. Of course, the A and B are often easy for me; it's the C that is never really present. Good for browsing and selection, not so good for prices and the checkout line--which is ALWAYS long and there only ever seems to be 2 cashiers. Last 2 times I went, I spent more time in line than looking for shoes! more

People are always ranting and raving about the savings at this place, but I don't think this place is that big of a savings. I mean, just a couple of days ago I went here to get my husband a pair of sandals. The sandals he liked were 25 dollars at DSW. We went to Kohls later on that day and found the same exact pair of sandals for 15 dollars. Besides even those shoes, most of the shoes here don't seem to be that greatly priced. CAN'T AFFORD DISCOUNT SHOES 3/24/2006

Am i really that broke that I still can't afford designer shoes, even though they're 60 percent off here. I've found so many shoes here that I love, and even fit comfortably. And who knows, maybe after my judy's book checks start flowing in, I'll be able to spend 80 or a hundred dollars on a pair, It is a good deal, when you figure that full price is a few hundred dollars. Still, I am confined to the sale within the sale rack where I can dig for pennies to find fifteen bucks for a pair of okay sandals. more

Great place ofr shoes 3/22/2006

Going to this store, you will not find fancy looking shoes displayed in their rack. They just line their shoes in the simplest way. The regular shoes price are cheaper than most department store, but if you want the best deal, walk directly to the very back of the store where the shoes are being marked down for additional percentage. I like shopping here, great deals are always easy to find in this store, and they also have bags in a fraction of price. One time I bought a bvlgari purse for a very good price. more

DSW is the place to go for discounted shoes. When you walk in, you'll see rows upon rows of shoes, from boots to sneakers to heels. You can shop for the whole family here because they offer mens, womens and childrens styles. Sizes are stored below the display shoe, so you can help yourself to your size. more

Bargain Shoes 3/12/2006

This place is a bargain shoe hunters dream. They have racks and racks of shoes at marked down prices. Lots of those shoes are designer brand names too. I love to go here and browse through their shoes. Best part is that they have plenty of sizes available in each shoe so your usually set no matter which style you choose. Overall a great place to stop after picking up some designer duds from Marshalls right next door. more

Good place for shoes 3/10/2006

This is my favorite place to go when I need new shoes. The department stores have them at insane prices, so I usually just head on over here. The store is huge and I usually have to to a bit of browsing before I find something, but I really don't mind because I usually save a lot of money. Also, when they have their sales you can save even more. I always get all my shoes at this great store. more

You Need To Go Here For Shoes 3/10/2006

You will save a lot by going here for shoes, and the assortment is great. They even have a clearance section that is fantastic. I have always been able to buy off of it. It holds the prices with Payless, except it has a larger selection. This location has a covered parking lot that takes you by elevator right into the store. Sometimes it is hard to find someone to help you, but you just have to go up to the front of the store for that. Check it out next time you are shopping. more
