Potbelly's is a great way to have lunch quickly without resorting to fast food. The sandwiches are really good - I usually order the meatball. If you're carb-conscious, you can order it "skinny" and they will cut out part of the bun so it's thinner and thus less carbs. They also carry IBC root beer products which are delicious! And don't forget to grab a chocolate chip cookie - they are definitely addicting! The staff also seems to have fun working there and are happy to serve you.

Subway is a good place to eat out for lunch. Subway offers many different kinds of sandwiches. They are real big and filling. I like the chicken subs a lot. The subs are made right in front of you with your favorite ingredients. The bread is real good and fresh. I like cookies here a lot too. They are real big and baked right out of the oven! The place gets around lunch time with people coming from work. The place is pretty big and sets a lot of people.

Yes, I am in love with Lulu's dogs and am pretty sure that they are the best Chicago dog around. If you are from Chicago, and never visited this place, then it is time for a lulu's run right away!! If you are from out of town and want to know what real Chicago style hot dog really is, please come and try one. Get everything on it, you won't be sorry.

Out of all the locations I have been to, I fidn this one the best. The breads here are always good and fresh. All of the ingredients are cut fresh too. The place is clean as well. The service is great-- all the people are real friendly here and they really fill your sandwich up! I find the food and service here to be perfect! One of my favorite places to go to for lunch!

A staple in Rogers Park for decades, Nemo’s has a wide variety of sub sandwiches, beef and meatball sandwiches. As an added bonus, the make their own soups and feature one daily. The soup can’t be beat. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny.
I've been going to this place forever and so has everyone else in the neighborhood. Don't miss it. The soup is the best and it's homemade.

Although Subway can be a bit expensive at times compared to other fast food prices at least you dont get all the oil and fat. Typically Subway is pretty reliable and you can get the sandwiches made the way you like. Subway has really expanded their variety of sandwiches, breads and toppings over the past few years making them not so boring as before. Overall it is a pretty safe bet.

This is a great way to eat fresh any time. The food here is great and I think it is one of the best sub shops in the area.
The ingrediants here are always fresh and they make a really good sub here. They have a variety of subs here and all of them are really tasty.
One thing that is great here is that you can always get fresh food here and you can get it quick, so if you don't have much time, this is a place with really fast service.

When I am working in this area, Subway is my choice for a good lunch. I think it is relatively healthy because your not getting any really greased up meat. I usually just stick to the lean veggie or tuna subs and cut down on the cheese and mayo content to keep things balanced. I'm not trying to be like that guy on their commercials who lost an enormous amount of weight, but it sure does help to be able to find a healthy alternative when eating out. If you're not really looking for the healthy deal, they also have some great meatball subs, chips, and chocolate chip cookies that should satisfy your craving.

This place makes a mean sandwich and, even though it's in the heart of the loop, it won't hurt your wallet. My friend Aviva shows up at my house sometimes with a present for me. It's always a sandwich from Fontano's.
The one time I was in the store itself, the people behind the counter were yelling at each other amiably, and the woman who seemed to be in charge brewed us a fresh pot of coffee so we could sit and wait for our friend. She didn't charge us for the coffee and didn't have a problem with us sitting there for 20 minutes. My sub was delicious.

The ladies working here are kind of mean at times and even hard to understand. But they make a good sandwhich here. They let you choose what you want to load it up with as well as what kind of bread you want your sandwhich made on. They have lots of different sandwhich options to choose from, but my personal favorite is the classic veggie sub.
One thing you have to try when you go here are their fresh baked cookies. They are so soft and soo delicious!
