One of the fun places that my mother and I visited while in Chicago, was the Hershey's Retail Store. http://www.hersheys.com/discover/chicago.asp This is a really huge store. They sell candy of course, all of the regular Hershey's brands, some of them in special sizes and packaging. They also sell t-shirt and some toys, Hershey's trucks and teddy bears and stuff like that. They have a few really neat things there, one is that you can buy a personalized giant Hershey's kiss with a custom message, or a message written in chocolate on a giant chocolate bar. You order your item and they personalize it while you wait. They also have a cute thing for children where you can get your picture taken with a Hershey's factory worker hat, and they make a badge for you, an honorary Hershey' factory worker and they give the children a small bucket of Hershey's candy for $14.95.

I've always loved Hershey. It's one of my favorite chocolate companies. So, I was very excited to discover that they opened a new shop, an ALL HERSHEY store right on the mag mile. If there's one thing I like as much as shopping, it's chocolate. And coffee, but that's another story. The Hershey store really isn't all that special though. I recommend visiting once, just to take in all that chocolate. But it's nothing too fancy. And it's a little too overcrowded.

I would say this store is just another chocolate store. You can find almost everything they offer in this store in the chocolate and candy aisle of your grocery store. However, my daughter was amazed at this store because as you can guess, it is like entering a paradise for a small girl to see so much candy and chocolate. I also tried their cupcakes from their cafe, I would say they decorate them nice but the taste is just average. I would say this is a good store just because it is unique.

Their store is across the street from Water Tower Place on the Mag. Mile. Their are alot of tourists and locals shopping and visiting landmarks around here. The Museum Of Cont. Art is only a couple of blocks away also. So obviously it was very crowded when I went to shop here. The store itself is not very large, it looks like it would be larger from the outside. The items they sell here are gift items, novelty items and pretty much anything that they can print the Hershey logo on. I have always loved their chocolates, and I enjoyed a brownie from their small cafe that was tucked in the corner of this packed shop. It's worth checking out, just have alot of patience because of the screaming kids( too much sugar)and the crowds.

This is a really neat cafe and shop in downtown Chicago. They have really neat items for sale here, like giant candy bars and lots of decorative items. I have come here to buy gifts for my friends who are big fans of hershey's chocolates. They have so many neat things here and they make very thoughtful and unique gifts. While you are here, you should also visit their little cafe, which serves up an amazing hot chocolate and brownie. This place is a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it for their good food and products.

If you love chocolate this is seriously the place for you! Although it is extremely loud and always crowded in here, you can buy lots of chocolate products and memorabilia! The staff is extremely energetic and the store moves at a fast pace. Its the perfect place to buy souvenirs for people!
