My first time at this restaurant was kind of surreal. A guy took me here to "break my heart and let me down easy with the bad news...." that he was gay. He said I would be devastated because he knew I had fallen in love with him, but alas, we could not be. Well, when I was finished laughing my butt off (because, 1. I already knew he was gay, 2. I do not make a habit of falling for gay men...) we ended up having a great time and becoming close friends. Once we relaxed and got through that weird conversation, we realized this was a great restaurant, and we shared some authentic Mexican food, fun drinks and enjoyed the classic music. We then split an order of fried ice cream and went on our merry way. I love it here!

I came here with my husband before we were married. The food was great, good portions and very high quality, authentic. The live music was a great touch, made us feel like we were at a real cantina in Mexico. Parking is an issue, so just hope you get lucky. No good method to getting a spot, unfortunately.

This mexican restaurant on Lincoln Ave. is perfect on a nice summer day. I hate to praise this the most, but their patio furniture was phenomenal!!!!! The cushions were so comfortable and I was so impressed by the quality of the furniture they have outside. Great food, moderate prices. Service was good.

If you're looking for good mexican food and some good margaritas at the same time, well, then Fiesta Mexicana is an excellent choice. A few blocks away from the DePaul University campus, this restaurant offers some great big servings of Fajitas and wonderful pitchers of margaritas. On the weekends, you can find a husband and wife musician team playing some spanish music for your delight. They take requests and try to make everyone have a good time, which actually does happen! Parking is difficult in this area, but Valet parking is available for a small fee. The prices are moderate. But thats what you could expect with the area that this restaurant is located in. Otherwise, it's a great place to go to any day of the week to have a good time. It's usually never crowded too much unless it's Saturday night.
