I started with the French Onion Soup and it was delicious. I honestly am not a huge soup eater, but this French Onion Soup was divine. Each of us had a different crepe entrée and they were all prepared well, with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Their wine list included a nice selection, one can easily find a wine to accompany their crepe dinner of choice.
Finally, for dessert, a crepe with nutella, peanut butter and bananas was thoroughly enjoyed and shared among the three of us. I would certainly certain for a crepe dessert again.
The service was pleasant and accommodating. As we were leaving there was live entertainment and it was wonderful to hear the songs being sung in the beautiful French language.

The crepes are fabulous and there are so many to choose from that it is hard to pick a favorite. It would be completely acceptable to visit La Creperie for dessert with some close friends or a date and enjoy the rich dessert crepes within this charming setting. However, if you did that you would completely miss the dinner crepes which range from vegetarian to cheeses and meats, just pick your favorite combo. I recommend going here for dinner or a late lunch. You will be able to appreciate the ambiance and lighting much better after the sun has set.

Ok - This is my second date restaurant. If the guy picks the first - then I will suggest coming to this small french restaurant for dinner, wine - and then go to Century for an independent film. They serve crepes, crepes, crepes - and that is it. The wine selection is good - and although there are other creperies that may get better food reviews, I have never been unsatisfied with my service/dining experience. In the summer they open their back area for outdoor dining from brunch and dinner -
When you walk in to the restaurant, it seems quite small with the bar in the front area - but there is another dining area in the back through a hallway. I just like this place because it is casual and homey. - The owner is adorable, and the staff is always friendly.

Charming doesn't even begin to describe this wonderful eatery tucked away on Clark St. From the name, you can probably guess that crepes are the main menu item, but there are a few other things as well. The food was great, and fairly priced, and the entire staff was a joy to interact with. Not only was our server friendly, but a few times she started to come over, but noticed we were in the middle of a conversation and waited a few minutes so as not to interrupt, which I found extremely courteous and refreshing. Don't be fooled by the boring bar/cafe look when you first enter - the main dining room is in the back, and beyond that is a quaint and cozy outdoor area, great for cool summer evenings. Overall, this is a great little place that everyone in Chicago should know and love.
