I've eaten here several times (once on New Year's Eve), and have always had a good meal, but the real reason to visit is their outstanding wine collection. Wait staff and sommeliers are very helpful with the wine selection. You can order by the bottle, glass, or try a flight (small tastes of several bottles). They have a very cute store with wine accessories up front, although the items tend to be overpriced. The bar is a very fun, busy spot and attracts the biggest crowds. You can probably have better food elsewhere in the city (try Blackbird, Alinea, Charlie Trotter's, Cafe Bernard), but this location is close to the House of Blues, so if you've got tickets for a concert, this is a perfect spot for a little pre-concert dinner or a post-concert cocktail.

My favorite part of the Bin 36 menu are the flights of wine. They even provide a card to write down your thoughts on each glass. They also have specific wine recommendations for every dish, which are always fabulous and the waitstaff is quite knowledgeable! I recently had the trout and asparagus salad, which were quite tasty. Don't overlook the desserts either--they are small but quite artistic.

Bin 36 is a mix of a wine bar and restaurant. The food there is alright but the real reason you should go there is if you are a lover of wine. They have different wines stretching from the floor to the ceiling on a huge wine rack and I'm pretty sure they have more elsewhere. If you are looking to go there to buy wine(they have a store area also) I would say chances are you wont be able to find you favorite hidden gem because there wine selection in the store are is very limited
