Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert are the menus offered; I've only been for dinner. The sushi rolls are delicious (although very expensive, from $7-23) as is the increasingly-hard-to-find foie gras. Main courses are made up of beef, venison, chicken fish, and sweetbread. NoMi, of course, has an impressive wine list--the online PDF is 63 pages.
Be sure to save room for dessert, or get the chocolate "Share Plate."
If you want a taste of NoMI but are living on limited means, you can eat in the lounge. The Black Angus sirloin burger is still $21, but it is damn good.

NoMI, located in the Park Hyatt off from Chicago Ave, serves French eclectic fare that, while high-priced, is elegant in look and superb in taste with a wine list to match. I once had a green pea and wasabi tart--yes, i know it's bizarre--that was so delicious I wanted to order another one.
The picture window overlooks the Water Tower Park, and you can also see a portion of the lake.
And the bathrooms are lovely; I wish my bathroom were as lovely as those at NoMI.

We met some friends there last weekend. The bar is indoor/outdoor on the 7th floor of the Park Hyatt. While it's a tad pricey the atmosphere is pretty laid back with a touch of urban sophistication. If you're looking for a good spot to meet friends after work or to start the evening off, Nomi's a good bet.

Nomi was great. We went with friends - the view was superb (7pm on a Sunday in late spring - it was day when we got there and night when we left.) The food was fresh and cleanly prepared. The service was great - I had to make a phone call in the middle of diinner and they slowed things down appropriately. The serving sizes were medium with plenty of color and flair. Desert was "the sampler" - six different chocolate desserts shared by the four of us. The Park Hyatt Chicago is a beautiful hotel - Nomi does it justice.
