We ate at Jacks before a Blueman Group performance and were so pleased with our experience. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. We ordered the steak and fries (fries were to die for!), salmon and the "pork tasting." All were prepared and presented wonderfully and in perfect portions. The pork and salmon were served with chutneys that were just out of this world! For desert we had the bananas foster and the ice cream pie. My son wouldn't give up any of the bananas foster so I presume it was good and the ice cream pie was just amazing. I would certainly return to Jacks on our next visit to Chicago. My husband and I love this place, it is our favorite place to come for a special occasion or a fun date night. The food is wonderful, I love the filet and he always gets the rib eye. Everything is always cooked to perfection and the wait staff is very friendly. We usually make reservations on Friday or Saturday night just to ensure we do not have to wait for a long time. If you do have to wait though they have a nice cozy bar area and the bartenders are always very friendly and make a mean cocktail. They have a great variety of Martinis and wine choices. Pros: Steaks are Great, Wonderful Staff, Fun Neighborhood Cons: Parking

My girlfriend and I found myself looking for a nice place to go before seeing the blue man group. We were very impressed with the service food and atmosphere Jack's gave. It is tough to go out due to my girlfriends food allergies but they were so accommodating and caring it was amazing. We liked it s much we came back for a glass of wine and amazing ice cream after the show. I would recommend anyone to just try it. We were from out of town and were having a hard time finding a friendly face in the cold city of Chicago but we felt at home that night. This place allowed us to finally relax from a stressful trip. Thank you again all who served us were amazing. The bar tender even called a friend to help us find our way to our friends house afterward. Can't say enough. Food, service, and atmosphere A++++++++ or **********. Thanks for saving our trip and giving us a warm feeling in such a cold town. I wanted to surprise my husband with dinner and tickets to Blue Man Group for our anniversary. I read a review about this restaurant and took a chance. We had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. The atmosphere was intimate. The restaurant has been newly decorated which added to the total enjoyable time. We live on the opposite side of town but will definately take the trip again. Highly recommended. Pros: Valet parking, service, food, ambience Cons: Bar seating could be larger

My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprise with Jacks! We went there before a party in boystown and had always heard it was great. We ordered the lobster risttoa (as an appetizer) 8 different martinis which were all great, and some fish. Everything was great. We'll definitely be back! Pros: Martinis, Staff, Food Cons: NADA ONE!
