This was my first visit to this location. With the Randolph street location there isn't really much of a wait, but we waited about an hour at this location. After we put our name in they let you order your pizza since it does take about 45 minutes to cook. I would add about 1 or 2 people to the recommended people a pizza can feed if you are ordering the stuffed pizza. they seem to under estimate it by about 1 o 2 people.
Pros: Great pizza and garlic bread.
Cons: Long wait. Just build that time into your evening.

I ate at 3 different Giordano's locations in Chicago, and the service and pizza were always excellent. The pizza can definitely take a long time to make, particularly during busy hours, so you need to be patient.
We also noticed that groups that order individual pizzas for each person tend to get them faster than if you order one large pizza...
Nonetheless, the deepdish is excellent and I would definitely recommend it.
Pros: Great deepdish pizza, good value, good service
Cons: Large sizes of deepdish can easily take 45 minutes wait time, if not longer

One of the top pizza places in the city. The deep dish is second only to Art of Pizza, but their pan and thin crust are the tops. More

I have the pleasure of visiting Chicago every year or two and always make it a point to eat at Giordano's. I just got back and was not disappointed. It is everything I remember. The staff was courteous and the food was very good. I'll be having pizza for breakfast. Thanks for the memories! See you next year!
Pros: Good Food
Cons: Sometimes it can take 45 minutes to get your pizza.

We love pizza, could eat it every day, and have been to Giordano's, Pizzeria Uno, Lou Malnati's, Gino's East - and honestly - Giordano's is the BEST. Awesome tasty crust, excellent sauce, stretchy and yummy cheese - don't even bother with toppings, this pizza is heaven. Gino's East would get second place, but the place smelled so much like spilled, stale beer, that the pizza ended up tasting like beer (depends on your liking, but that is not a good thing for us). Lou Malnati's was a HUGE disappointment, the pizza crust was disgusting, cheese and sauce OK, and Pizzeria Uno tasted like frozen pizza - enough said.
Pros: Location on Rush is a really nice restaurant, comfortable; food is awesome
Cons: Long wait (but to be expected with such a great pizza)

ordered thin crust with vegetables and the crust was very thick - does anyone do a true thin crust ?
Am looking for a light thin crust - not half inch thick doughy pizza like what I got here

I don't know how the restaurant itself is, but the pizza isn't really that great (or, it wasn't for me). Lou Malnati's or Chicago's Pizza and Pasta easily beats it. Prices are decent, or at least comparable to those other places, but, once again, pizza just not that good. And fettuccine alfredo could have been a LOT better.
