Sounds weird huh? But in reality the service is amusing and if you are light hearted then you will enjoy the fun teasing with the wait staff. The food is just okay. It is really more about the experience here.
Of course parking is a pain here. but what can you expect in the city?

The prices are a bit much, but the food is good and it's fun to interact with the servers. My favorite comeback is when they ask if I want desert looking at them up and down and saying, in a very simple voice, "Are you on the menu?" Parking IS expensive, but so is everywhere else in the city. At least they have parking... ha.

Over the years I have been noticing that Ed's is getting to be more rude than anything else. Servers that used to act like a sweet mother requesting that you finish your green beans have turned into Mr. T, enforcing the "no ice cream until all of your carrots are gone" demand. Great place for dining if you have the patience. A+ for food and family atmosphere.

A 60's style diner restaurant this place is know for the wait staff being unusually cruel and singing on the tables. I went with some high school friends, and one guy got a straw with a whole in it. Others had order mistakes (which where very quickly fixed, because it was on purpose), and things like that. It's part of the experience supposedly.

Neat place to take out of towner's to if your in the area, but to go on a regular basis, no, parking is impossible unless you want to valet for $20, wait for an hour in the bar area and drink VERY expensive drinks (your elbow to elbow in this area). All in all the food is pretty good tho and you will be entertained. Make sure to order the "wets"...fries with gravy...it's a meal in its self for me. Food is pricey but as I said worth going to at least once.

This restaurant's theme is 50s and the waiters are supposed to be rude. They are sometimes, other times they don't seem to want to put in the effort. That's okay, it can't be easy to be mean all the time. They are really more like actors, they have to get up on the diner and dance/sing every couple of hours. The food is decent, but overpriced, and there's only valet parking, so if you don't want to pay try to find a street spot.

1950's Diner type establishment. The servers dress in that type of clothing and don't have a problem taking a seat right next to you. If you are lucky you might be there when they are doing 'Car Wash' up on the counter.
Their hamburgers are large and they have the best cheese fries. A little pricey but you are also paying for the atmosphere.
