They have very decent prices on portions that should definitely yield left-overs. The food tastes good too. I'd much rather spend 6 or 7 bucks here than at a real fast food joint. I'm definitely a snob when it comes to authentic Italian food, so I can't even handle their red sauce. Their oil based or white sauces are definitely more tolerable. They offer a god mix of mostly fresh vegetable choices as well as some meats and seafood. And as their name describes, everything is tossed in a bowl of pasta. Everything is served quickly, so it would be an okay choice f you were in a hurry. Seating here is interesting too. It's not too comfortable.Almost feels like they want you to gulp down your food and leave..

I know everybody always raves about this place and its great, inexpensive food. Yes, the food was pretty inexpensive and the portions were pretty big. But I just thought the menu was too small and did not offer enough choice. Also the pasta sauce seemed very bland to me and it seemed to be in desperate need of some seasoning and/or spices. The restaurant itself was well kept and the service was good at lunch time when I went. But for better tasting pasta, I would definitely go somewhere else.

The food at Pasta Bowl on Clark Street is great! The prices are great! The service is great! Everything they serve is fresh and high quality. In addition to the regular menu they have a daily pasta special. The special is a must when it contains seafood - always good and fresh. It's great for a quick dinner. They make your food to order, behind the open counter. Feel free to ask them to adjust the ingredients of their menu items too - they're more than happy to accommodate you.

...at a great price! The portions in this small centrally located Lincoln Park neighborhood are absolutely enormous. The restaurant itself opened up a quant bar next door which blends perfectly. If you go, you must try the Farfalle Pollo and the spinach salad. Pasta Bowl does not take reservations, so be prepared to wait on a weekend evening.

They do delivery, but be prepared for a mistake if you try this route - maybe it's just too loud in there for them to correctly hear your order? Better to stop in and either wait for it, or come back ten minutes later. But you cannot beat the price and it is good quality, so worth any quirks.
