Sun Wah is your prototypical Chinese restaurant with the ducks hanging in the window. The BBQ pork chow mein is like a comfort food for me, as its bit of grease is balanced by lots of vegetables. This place on Argyle does brisk business, both for dine in and take home.

Between the circle of my friend, we call Sun Wah to have the best Chinese style roast duck and barbecue pork in Chicago. They also have a very good shrimp fried rice. I usually have the barbecue pork, roast pork and roast duck over white rice. The only thing I hate about Sun Wah is the fact that they charge 50 cent for a tiny container of chilly oil if we want it for to go order even if you buy the whole pork, c'mon...it's only chilly oil !! Other places never charge chilly oil.
