I had heard a lot of mixed reviews on this place, and wouldn't have gone if I wasn't in the area. The food was good and I will admit that the service left something longing, but the prices made it worth the trip. The problem with this place is how many people have said that they didn't care for it. What I can tell you is that I felt as if the place was clean and the service, though slow, was interested in taking care of my order.

This Mexican restaurant wasn't what I expected. The food wasn't very good and it was cold. When I ordered I expect a 10 minute wait but it's like they forgot I was there. My food never came and the waitress had the nerve to bring me a bill. I was certainly not washing dishes because of her stupidity. Eventually my food came and she said there was a mix up. It was piping hot, and that dish was fine. I didn't argue with the waitresss I just gave her an evil look, and left. The food wasn't even wat I ordered. There were like 6 group of people there. I got up and left. The service here could use a face lift, and a pep in the step. The food is cheap but I'll check this place out in the day time.

I went into this Mexican restaurant with high hopes - the Reader had given it great reviews, and I generally tend to agree with their critics. The service was kind of rude and incredibly slow - there were not a lot of people there that night so there was no excuse for our meal to take almost 40 minutes to arrive. My partner's meal, he said, was tasty if a bit on the bland side. My flautas were tiny, my side of rice and beans cold, and the refills on my water nonexistent. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, or came in on the wrong night. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and come in on another night, but it's not going to be anytime soon. At least the food was cheap-ish.
