Pasta Bowl is a place that I have been frequenting for years now. It is such a great place to go for good meals. Their pastas are really good and they are so inexpensive. All their pasta dishes are around six to seven dollars and you get a whole bowl full. Make sure to request some extra cheese on top because it really adds some flavor. The restaurant is really nice and they have these big booths that are perfect to come for a relaxing dinner with a date or friends. You can for sure have a good meal here for under ten dollars.

Very basic and inexpensive pasta that is consistently good. Daily specials and a short wine list make this a nice casual place for a meal. This is a small restaurant, and really not good for groups larger than 6. Pasta Bowl also has a delivery service--which is a necessary feature as parking on Clark St. is non-existent.

The Pasta Bowl is probably the best place to go to in Lincoln Park if you are looking for a nice, big bowl of pasta. They have a good selection of pasta dishes to choose from and all of their portions are really huge. I have had better pasta at other places but what keeps bringing me back here again and again? The low prices!! You can get a big portion of pasta and a drink all for under ten dollars. Plus, you will definitely be leaving with leftovers becuse this place gives you so much.

All the pastas are very inexpensive (less than $8 a piece) for a serving that will allow you to take home some leftovers. The bruschetta and the caesar salad are excellent (although a little heavy on the black pepper), and the pasta dishes are pretty varied. The conchiglie gorgonzola is creamy but still light, and very delicious. They serve very cheap wines too.... about $5 a glass. Yummy!

While you may have to walk here (metered and hard to find parking), Pasta Bowl is worth it, especially if you're starving and on a budget and just need to go out. Although prices have gone up in the last year, you can still spend under $15 on a glass of wine and a ridiculously large serving of pasta, often with enough left over for tomorrow's lunch. I'm a big fan of the "Bona Vita" Primavera: whole wheat spaghetti with a medley of veggies. Cappellini pomodoro and farfelle pollo are also very good. No reservations and sometimes a wait, but this neighborhood spot is a worthy place to take friends and family, for an evening out with your bf/gf, or for delivery. Seating is limited, so not a good place for large groups (more than 5).

This is an okay place to go for pasta. My kids actually really enjoy it and there are some good options on the menu for them. Most of their pastas have the basic ingrediants so they are very kid friendly. But for me, this place is just okay. The pasta is a bit bland and the menu is small. But it is very reasonably priced and I bring my kids here every once in a while so they can enjoy what they like to eat here.

The Pasta Bowl offers a variety of pasta dishes at reasonable prices - a combo I would normally love. My problem is that the pasta is overcooked and way over al dente. The sauces are decent, but it's hard to appreciate when the pasta is mushy and flavorless. People seemed to love this place, as it's usually crowded so maybe it's just me. Personally, I'll pass.

This is a good place to go if you are a big fan of Pasta. The dishes here are really inexpensive. You can get a big pasta meal with bread for only about 7-8 dollars. The portions here are huge and you will probably have leftovers to take home too. The only thing I did not like about this place is that the menu is pretty small. They really only have about eight pasta dishes to choose from. However, the food, service, and prices are good. They also deliver.
