Fun Place

This is the absolute best place to go pick up a great hot dog. Their charred hot dogs are so insanely good and they come with a side of delicious fries as well.
This place gets really lively late at night when people kind of line up after their wild nights. So, how do the people working here react? They insult them and then serve them some good food. Yup, you may be subject to an occassional 'friendly fire" insult and it is actually pretty funny and entertaining.

The best cheddar burgers and fries!

The Wiener's Circle is off the beaten track as far as Chicago eateries go, but all the locals know about it. It's basically just a tiny little hot dog/burger stand on Clark St with a very limited menu. That's ok, because all you need to order from there is the char cheddar burger with a side order of cheddar fries. They glop on the cheese, which is very thick, very processed, and very delicious. This is a great place to go on Friday or Saturday nights after you've been out on the town, and you're just as likely to see people in tuxedos and evening gowns (fresh from the opera) as you are to see people in jeans and t-shirts.

Get Insulted While You Eat

Their hot dogs are really so good that most patrons don't mind getting insulted. In fact, it's sort of become their claim to fame. That's right, while placing your order the staff will yell at you, call you fat, perhaps or even make fun of your choice in clothing. I usually send my husband in because they really have the best real Chicago style hot dogs in the Lakeview area. I recommend getting take out if you want to avoid getting hassled.

Greasy Food

The Wiener Circle is an excellent place to fulfill your greasy food cravings. They have excellent hot dogs here and some of the tastiest fries that I have ever had. The service here is really quick and fast. They have limited seating here, and if you don't find a seat, you can always take out. in the summer, you can also sit outside and eat which is enjoyable too. Give this place a try! Its affordable too!

Abuse and hot dogs

The Wieners Circle has good hot dogs but nothing out of this world, but the fries are thick cut and very tasty. The unique feature of this hot dog joint is that the counter staff can get a bit sassy with customers, especially late at night when drunken revelers come in for a bite. Be prepared to take some sass while you wait for your order. There's limited stool seating inside, and bench seating outside that's only appropriate during the summer time.
