This club has been around as long as I can remember and was voted best Blues club by the Chicago Music Awards. They have had visits from members of the Stones and The Who. Fairly big name Blues perfomers grace the stage here as well as lesser known folks just starting their career. I feel a bit sorry for people that live on the same block as this club beause it can really get wild here and there is only street parking that everyone is fighting for.

A place where you can eat and drink and let your jelly roll? This is the da joint, my friends. I have to admit a bit of partiality since I am a friend of the fambily, but the Pelligrino clan really does a righteous job of keeping this joint swinging and fun. Doc Pelligrino is a real medical doctor, but he found his true calling as a blues club owner, helping a thousand struggling musicians to make a decent living, and also providing great music for thousands of patrons.
