Last night I dined at Tuscany on Clark Street. I was nothing but happy with their menu and wine list. The waiter was wonderful, kind and attentive. Their wine list is full of terrific options from Chianti to Pinot Grigio.
I had their linguine special with fresh mussels and plenty of big shrimp. Their fried calamari and baked clams are great choices for appetizers. Of course, any lover of garlic will fall in love with their oil, roasted garlic and cheese spread they serve with bread.
After review their menu prior to ordering I realized, you can't make a bad decision in regard to choosing an entrée.

Tuscany is a great little Italian restaurant. The food is wonderful. One of the great things is the food is served hot. The service is very good - friendly and efficient. The front entrance is a little less than inviting but do not let that detract from the overall experience of the restaurant. The parking in the neighborhood is a little tight, especially in the summer - best to take public transportation.

My husband and I went here for an anniversary, so of course I am a bit biased, but this was possibly one of the best restaurants in Chicago. The food was amazing, and the service was totally out of this world. It's almost like they could anticipate your next want or need before you did! Would definitely go back again and again.
