I ordered the nachos here once by accident and it was the best mistake that I had made in a long time. It is imperative to have them stick on extra guacamole if you get into that. The store might not seem the cleanest, but they prepare the food right in front of you, which is always a little reassuring. The prices are low and the service is high. A safe bet.

This place rocks. Authentic, warm and inviting but best of all great food at reasonable prices. You can usually find parking at a meter down the street somewhere or if your taking public it is right across the street from the Red Line's Belmont stop. As Gina stated there is a bar in back and they will be happy to serve you at your table also if you don't want to hang out there at the bar itself.

You might feel inclined to walk passed this place, but I urge you to stop in. Their cooking is authentic and their prices are fantastic. They’ve got kind of an old man bar thing going on in back, so I like to do take out. The guacamole nachos are absolutely fabulous and their tacos, sopes and tostadas taste like your mom made them (if your mom was a native Mexican chef).

I ordered the nachos here once by accident and it was the best mistake that I had made in a long time. It is imperative to have them stick on extra guacamole if you get into that. The store might not seem the cleanest, but they prepare the food right in front of you, which is always a little reassuring. The prices are low and the service is high. A safe bet.
