This place has been around at least 25 yrs. Talk about a no-frills, no nonsense little sandwich shop. They still do the exact same thing all these years later. They only sell subs, chips drinks and soup. It can get packed in here between locals and Lane Tech students. I used to pick up subs more often years ago when I was in high school. My school would play football against Lane Tech a couple times a year. A few friends of mine went to Lane also. After a recent visit I thought that so much has changed in the world over the years but nothing has changed here at this shop. Do other writers often feel this way? It's like when you go visit a relatives house or old neighborhood;constants I guess.
