  • Who doesn't love Ann Sathers?

    Rating:

Ann Sathers is consistently good and affordable. I love having breakfast here because I've never had a bad meal. Service can sometimes be slow, but it does get busy at brunch time. For whatever reason, I'm also not annoyed by the crowds here, even if it includes children. Perhaps because it has a homey, comfortable atmosphere. Or perhaps the delicious gooey cinammon rolls are laced with cannabis (just kidding, but they are that good).

    My favorite: crab cakes benedict.

Dinners are also good; an entree is around $10 but includes salad and dessert.

Bathrooms are not always pleasant as some people find it necessary to smoke in them.

Parking for the Belmont location is ample and free. The Broadway and Clark locations close in the afternoon.

  • Great breakfast and good salads and sandwiches too

They have great Swedish pancakes that eat as often as possible in the summer months. This place is best to visit in the summer when the sun is shining through the window. They also serve you pretty quick so if you're looking for quality food and service on an a timely manner, this is a great place. It's also a family friendly environment.

  • Good Breakfast Place

    Rating:

Ann Sather is a great place to go for breakfast. They're well known for their cinnamon rolls, but I find them to be a bit dry and unexciting. What I enjoy the most at Ann Sather are their breakfast dishes, especially their selection of eggs benedict. They go beyond the usual eggs benedict, and offer different versions. My favorite is the one with watercress and tomato. Their home fries are also excellent. Another positive aspect about this place is the waitstaff is always extremely friendly and prompt.

  • Awesome Breakfast

    Rating:

In my opinion, this is one of the best places to go for breakfast in all of Chicago. They serve a Swedish style breakfast with really yummy food. You get too choose from many omelette options, hash browns, baked goods, and lots of fresh things to eat. This place is immensly popular for its fresh and tasty food, so if you go in on a weekend morning, be prepared to wait a while. But the wait is definitely worth it because you will for sure enjoy the great meals here. Though I have never had anything but breakfast here, their lunch menu also seems really delicious and is full of great choices.
