Another reviewer was right. Furama is terrible. The food was average at best. The service...ugh, don't even get me started. Some friends throught to host a meeting there (local business and big rooms) and they acted like we were torturing them by being there. We spent $600 for the last three months are are so tired of them we will never go back. Every place in Uptown is better to patronize than Furama. Never again!

Out of so many asian which include Thai, Vietnamesse, and Chinese restaurant in the area, this restaurant is the only place that offer dim sum in their menu, usually they have it in the morning. The place is big, but the quality and taste of their dim sum is not so great. I would go to china town if I want to have a good dim sum, or if I am in the area I would prefer to eat at other restaurant.

We've been here several time for dim sum and never left the restaurant fully satisfied. Their dim sum are so mediocre, most of the server cannot even explain what they are offering in their cart because they just simply don't speak English. Some of the food like their chewy squid are often over cooked, and some other food like the chicken feet are almost always not cooked enough that we can just suck it and eat it. If you want a really good dim sum this place is certainly not the place for it. And their fruit smoothies are just too watery.

This place is just a tad overrated. The dim sum is mediocre and doesn't have much going for it other than size. There are plenty of restaurants in chinatown with better prices and sometimes, better decor (like Phoenix). The only plus is that theres always parking in the lot or the surrounding areas and its a good place to hold large parties and gatherings. I've been to many wedding receptions there and thats always been wonderful. But pass on everything else.

Furama is a good place for dim sum if you don’t want to head to Chinatown. It is always entertaining to see what food items will arrive in the next cart. Go fairly early (definitely before noon) and bring a large gathering of people for the best selection of Chinese items hearty and sweet. The last time I was here all the cart pushers sported soccer jersey-style tops, so I hope they will keep that cool touch.
