I have been eating at the Steakhouse since 1983. I have eaten at 100 different Mexican Restaurants and this is my favorite. The guacamole is great, the enchiladas suizas or mole are terrific. If you have to have a beer with your meal, bring your own. They don't have a liquor license. It doesn't bother me, but I know there are a lot of people who want a cold beer with their food. Isn't liquor a big part of the profits in the restaurant business? I wonder why you guys never served alcohol. I bet that having a bar would help in a bad economy like this. If there was justice, Mexico Steakhouse would be as big as Connie's. I'd rather eat the box it came in than eat their pizza. There should be a Mexico Steakhouse in every part of the city. It's that good. Pros: Best Steak tacos/burritos Everything is Great Cons: NONE

Alot of my friends love this place so I decided to try it. My mom and I walked in and were waited on right away. We were brought complimentary soup, chips, and salsa. We ordered a few minutes later and the food was served within ten minutes. The food was excellent and was about $18 for my mom and myself. I highly recommend it to anyone.

OMG. I just picked up my order from there & got a small nachos. I get back to work, open it & there's like literally 10 chips in the box. Are you kiddin me!?! It cost $4.00 for this too! I'd be fine if it was like $2 or maybe $3. But wow, so not worth as much they charge! That's like 50 cents a chip!!!!!!! Not doing that again!!! Oh, then I called and was told that a small order is 8 chips. The girl said it like she did not give a care either. They are making a killing on their "nachos"

I'm 27 years old and have been enjoying Mexico Steakhouse beans and rice since I was 5. Years later the food is just as good as the first time. Tina (owner) or one of her sisters or nieces greet and serve you as if you are part of their own family. You never have to wait for a table, beverages and soup, chips, and salsa are brought out immediately, and you will never wait more than 20 minutes for your meal, no matter what you order. Their flautas and enchiladas suizas are EXCELLENT!!! If you're in the mood for steak, get their shishkabobs. And don't forget the nachos in the beginning. Prices are reasonable for a family night out.

The newly renovated Mexico Steak House has always been a favorite for Carne Asada. It's the best when eaten there, although carry-outs are available. I don't particular care for their beef tacos as they use a potato filler in them - but steak and guacamole makes up for them. PROS: CONS: limited parking on a busy street
