Cornball all the way for the dualing pianos. Yes, it made me smile and even laugh. I felt a little embaressed for these musicians who have to ham it up for a crowd where half the folks are drunk and wouldn't know any better. Well, that's what they chose to do with their "talent". It gets packed in this joint. At least they offer free food during happy hour, of what I tried was very tasty. Parking is always "fun" around here too. Go straight to a lot and don't even bother looking for a space, why waste your time. The club will validate your parking which helps. 3 stars for the laughs!

I'm a sucker for dueling pianos, what can I say! They aren't exactly Billy Joel and Elton John, but they are very entertaining. When I recently went here, we were trying to be smart alecks and requesting them to play screaming guitar tunes from Guns 'N Roses or Aerosmith. Needless to say, our requests were never played. But if you want to sing along with Piano Man, have a drink or enjoy some nice happy hour appetizers, this is a cool place to be. Be warned that it gets packed, I am talking you're standing so close to people you can count their pores kind of close. Be sure and wear your best deodorant that day :)

Ok, that doesn't include ages under 21 because they're not allowed, but besides that, there is no way to go to Howl at the Moon and not have a good time no matter what your age. The performers are so funny and so entertaining that you can't help but laugh. The music is catchy and will make you want to dance right along, even if you think you look ridiculous. There is a small cover, but I think it goes down as the night goes on. Plus you can buy huge buckets full of Hurricanes or Margaritas with about 40 straws sticking out and there's really enough in there to share with all your friends!
It does get really crowded however, so be prepared to stand if you don't get there early. But even if you get a seat you'll want to get up and dance around anyway, so it's not a big deal.
