The food is always disappointing, but the ambiance is not. Try to sit by the fish tank. More

The food is not even worth the money paid. I bet I can cook a better meal myself at home.
The restaurant is really well decorated and if it's just the decor that you want to see, then just take a stroll around their little shop. There will be more than enough there to keep you happy and satisfied.

Ok this place looks real great and all because of the way its set up. But the food is pretty much gross. I went here twice to eat and I did not like it either times. The food wasnt so great and neither was the atmosphere. It was really loud and noisy. The gift shop is pretty cool though. You'll usually find a bunch of toursits. The place is set up real nicely and it does attract a number of people. Even I still go here each time I am around the area!

Okay, I must admit that the giant frog outside, and the stools made to look like animal legs (on the inside of the restaurant) intrigue me. But I only go on "off" days so that I can avoid being annoyed by the endless parade of screaming babies and gawking out of towners. The place is kind of cool, and I enjoy walking through the gift shop, but once I've "been there, done that" there is not much else to go back to see. The place is cute, and the staff plesant enough, but it's too touristy for me.

This place does attract a lot of tourists. I was here only once and was facinated by the decor and how much money they put into this place. They pass the costs down to the customer in the way of the meal. Also by selling a lot of touristy items in their gift shop. I think it's a very novel place and I guess they are still around because there are so many children and tourists that will cry if they don't come here!

The kids really love the rainstorms and the animals all over - the atmosphere is great for family eating. Ok, I know it's a total tourist trap but worth it to see those big wide eyes and the smiles that come with it.
It is definitely expensive so go with that in mind.

I know the food sucks here. I actually prefer the McDonalds accross the street for food over this place!! But I end up going here every so often because of my kids. My kids just love the jungle theme and all the animals and the different sounds they make. The food is of no interest for my kids. Its just the atmosphere of this place, with monkeys swinging around and nature sounds playing. For the atmosphere, it is worth a trip at least once. But if you're looking for a good meal, don't go here.

This is a place for kids to eat when you come for a vacation in the city. Kids will love the giant frog and mushroom and butterfly decorating the outer facade, and they will go crazy with the jungle themed and aquarium filled interior. Every once in a while thunder sounds and then water sprays down the walls (not at you). There are robotic animals hidden around that move their heads or tails back and forth. The food is fine, there is something for everyone. It probably is overpriced for what it is, but you are paying for the experience. My nieces LOVED it.

When you come here, all you are paying for is the atmosphere, which, in all honesty, is kind of cute and fun and totally not a bad concept. However the food is completely unappetizing. It definitely is rather bland, tasteless, unsatisfying, disappointing, blah. And overpriced. The servers are also unimpressive. I guess this is an ok place to take kids just because they will be entertained by fake thunderstorms and rain showers and animals, but definitely do not come with a big appetite and high hopes of actually having a decent meal. Kids probably don't care either way so that's really all it's good for.

I Love food and Chicago has so many wonderful options for delicious dinners. This, my friends, is not one of them. Their cuisine is boring, tasteless and over priced. If you like bland, this is okay... but then again you can boil a hot dog for far less money at home. Keep walking and go to Portillo's or something..
