I was downtown for a seminar today and had lunch at the ESPN Zone on Ohio Street. They seat single diners at the bar and that was fine. The bartender was busy but very nice. I got my lemonade right away and the appetizer, chile over cronbread in a skillet arrived quickly and was great. For the bar, I could see the viewing area with ESPN showing on the big screen surrounded by monitors. One nice touch was that they has a scoreboard that was showing the schedules of the Bulls, The DePaul Blue Demons and my beloved University of Illinois Illini. I enjoyed the lunch and hope to go there again.
