At three in the afternoon they start a $1.95 menu for a couple hours and then start it back up at around ten. You only need to purchase two dollars in drinks to participate, but you were going to do that anyways. You can get a fantastic half pound burger with fries here for $1.95! They are constantly threatening to kick me out for hugging the waitresses out of pure joy. Just do it!

I love the happy hour here. It's amazing food prices and the atmosphere is just wonderful. The service is great and I haven't had anything I don't like. They also are friendly to non-alcholoic drinkers (which is rare for a bar.. trust me). The location is great too, lots to see and do in this little corner of Chicago.

Definitely try their happy hour if nothing else. This place, like its neighbors on rush caters to a crowd that is accustomed to paying big bucks for a night on the town. McCormick and Schmick is primarily seafood and steak. But it also has a groovy old cigar bar-feel. The servers are great and they treat you the same no matter what you order. M and S does have a very inexpensive 1.95 menu for happy hour. They only ask that you buy 2 bucks worth of drinks. This happy hour is a good way to get a taste of their delicious menu.
