If you think sit down diner, you've got Nookies. I like the location (near Lincoln Park) and the waiters/waitresses are very nice. Other than that it's pretty much your normal every day faire. It's kind of annoying they don't take credit or debit cards - I found that out the hard way!

An awesome place to grab some brunch on a weekend afternoon or morning. This place serves up some of the best omelettes and pancakes that i have ever had. Plus, they are always adding new twists to their omlettes, so you always have a change. But be prepared to wait for brunch here. This place is popular for its good food and people line up at the door for some. Also, they take cash only so leave the plastic at home!
