This is a great place to go if you want some good Mexican good. They have very authentic tasting food here and they use some really good and fresh ingrediants in their food. Their fajitas here are the best and I always enjoy the chicken fajitas. This place gets especially lively at night when they get the dance floor jumping and the music really pumping. You can really enjoy a fun night here with lots of good food to eat too.

One of my major gripes about most Mexican Resturants is that they all taste the same. Lalo's is the exception to this rule. We used to get their food catered at work and it is delicious! I love the menu and everything tastes fresher than most places I've been for Mexican food.

At Lalo's you have your choice of things to do. For one, it's a restaurant and their Mexican food is pretty good and satisfying. Of course it's also a bar and you can drink margaritas or your choice of a full line of liquor, and it's open pretty late. On top of that, some of the tables are moved out of the way to reveal a dance floor later in the night and DJs play Latin dance music and other fun songs. Don't worry if you don't know how to dance - Lalo's also offers Latin dance lessons! It does get a little more loud than necessary in here sometimes, so keep that in mind if you're looking for something quiet and relaxing.

This is a pretty good Mexican restaurant located in the heart of River North. They’ve got a huge menu and tons of drinks and drink specials. The chips and salsa they bring to your table are really good. I recommend the steak fajitas, they are really great.. one time I had the combo which was really bland, even the rice and beans were bland so I don’t recommend that. On certain nights of the week they have Latin music and a dance floor so it can be really fun!
