Excellent coffee and espresso drinks--I especially like the lattes, as the baristas take the time to steam the milk and pour it correctly (you'll be able to tell by what will likely be a heart shape in the foam--some baristas make their own foam design, however). The usual array of pastries and other coffee accoutrements are available too. VERY crowded on weekends, with families and strollers, and some extreme coffee lovers. I get mine to go. Sidewalk seating available in warmer months.

They could use a little more space, but in the summer they put some tables and chairs outside. Those chairs are some of the hottest property in the area. Inside there are comfy couches and chairs. They have great coffee and tea with some ok breads and such. If you live in the area then this is your new coffee shop. I just wish you luck on sitting down at busy times of the day.

This is one of the larger coffee shops in the area and they have plenty of seating for people who are just stopping by as well as those who want o hang for 6 hours. Intelegencia brews their own brand of coffee which is pretty expensive and delicious. They also have a tasty variety of pumpkin bread, banana bread and zucchini bread that costs like 2.50 for a slice. The people here are really nice and the atmosphere is always conducive to the creative mind. That is to say, if you are suffering from writer’s block, stop here and eavesdrop on a conversation, you will come up with a great story.

Intelligentsia serves good coffee, as well as pastries, in a comfortable setting with sofas as well as your standards chairs and tables. One drawback is that it's usually crowded, even in the middle of a weekday. People will hang out to read, talk with friends, or type away on their laptop. It's a nice reprieve from the sleeker Starbucks. And you're encouraged to stay at long as you want.
