This white-tablecloth restaurant (in the wide-open space formerly occupied by Courtyards of Plaka) is modeled after a Mediterranean villa, with terra cotta tile floors and rough-textured walls. Regional specialties include garlicky appetizers, saganaki (of course), lamb dishes, seafood, kebabs and vegetarian moussaka. A pianist plays background music.
We went to costa's and loved it!! the food was delicious (the flaming cheese is great as an appetizer!) and the portions were very generous. a friend and i shared a greek salad and an entree and they split it for us without us even asking (at no charge). our waiter was very attentive and friendly and gave good recommendations. we will definitely go back!
